Christine first came to yoga and meditation to help with an autoimmune condition, and then Pilates as a means to manage joint hypermobility, poor coordination and body idiosyncrasies. She has been teaching since 2012, and also has experience in martial arts, somatics and nutrition and is a non-specific lower back pain specialist and meditation teacher.
Christine continued her wellness journey by studying a Master’s in Integrative Psychotherapy using the arts, after personally understanding the benefits therapy can have.
Christine is interested in working with all clients; her skills seem to be especially helpful for clients at both the older and younger end of the population. She also understands how to assist clients who are on the hypermobile spectrum, with spine and hip/leg pathologies or neurodivergence.
Client-centred and trauma-informed practices are at the heart of how Christine relates to her clients. A person is more than what we see.
