Christine is a fully qualified teacher of Pilates, yoga, and meditation; with an interest in martial arts and dancing. She was first drawn to Pilates to correct poor posture whilst at University. This led her to understand and relieve aches and pains from injuries, and hypermobility. Before practicing and training in these somatic (of the body) modalities, Christine had no idea about the pains she felt. Hence she attributes her now thriving on knowing how to listen to the body and translating the sensations into key information.
Meditation and mindfulness (meditation on the moment) also play a large part in Christine’s practice and teaching. All have profound effects on her well-being and managing life with an auto-immune condition.
