Core-Focus started as a methodology that combines Pilates’ core alignment principles with yoga’s mindfulness and awareness. Where sessions are designed to have you move in your unique flow and form.
Moving mindfully means that we pay attention to what happens moment by moment. Thus permitting a dialogue between mind and body, and heightening our abilities to move in a way our future bodies will thank us for. It also gives a voice to those parts of the body which keep going ‘wrong’ without apparent reason.
Another means of giving voice to those parts is through the use of psychotherapy utilising the body or the arts, which is another tool available for use in Core-Focus sessions.
The movement option of sessions is intended to restore, rebalance, and re-tune you, helping you feel stronger and more energised. Optional guided meditations, silent restfulness, pranayama (breath work), or Reiki healing are about calming the mind and restoring peace. Yet, if you are worried, sad, overwhelmed, or confused about your life or circumstances, book a 1:1 psychotherapy session to help work with your inner world or child.
Learn to focus your energy, use it however you choose, and stop wasting it. Focus your mind, enhance your potential and feel better about who you are and what you do.
Build your confidence and improve connections with yourself and others. Core-Focus sessions are about feeling great from the inside out, whether in a public class, personal wellness session, or corporate group.
